Rae is practical, approachable and naturally good at helping people feel comfortable and included. She brings a calm, reliable presence to the team and leads in a way that is supportive, respectful and hands-on.

Her background includes disability coaching, customer service and community volunteering. This experience has strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, respond to different needs and remain steady in busy or changing environments.

As Team Leader, Rae supports staff to feel confident in their roles while maintaining a strong focus on the people accessing services. She notices what needs attention, follows through and is always willing to step in and help. Rae values consistency, teamwork and creating an environment where people feel heard, respected and able to be themselves.

Outside of work, Rae has contributed to animal welfare, environmental conservation and community initiatives addressing food insecurity. These experiences reflect her practical nature, strong sense of responsibility and genuine care for people and the wider community.

We bring experience across disability, neurodiversity, advocacy, coaching, community services and organisational governance. That means we understand both the human side of support and the systems behind it.

Our advocacy work helps people understand systems, identify barriers, explore options and communicate what matters to them.

We are direct, thoughtful, practical and person-centred. We challenge unnecessary barriers, ask useful questions and work alongside people rather than making decisions for them.

Common Human is built around one clear idea: better support starts with understanding the person, not just the label or the system.
